All these social networking sites remind me of clubs in london. There are the ones everyone can get in, some require you to be of scottish heritage, some require a recommendation by a member. Usually the harder it is to get in, the better the club house and the more intresting the people inside.

FaceBook and MySpace are like workers clubs, everyone can join, they are hip right now, the craze, but they will die down soon, fashion moves on. We had web communities years ago, when I was about 15, for some reason they are all dead now, guess why?

The BlogoSphere is the new elite club! Imagine mid twenties with strange t-shirts, jeans and weird haircuts roaming the halls of the Athenaeum, smoking big cigars, sitting on old, leather chairs[softer than a babies bottom(ask Frasier)] illuminated only by laptop screens.

Why is it the elite you ask, well it takes more effort(though some would say it takes no effort at all and the BlogoSphere is shit nowadays) to set up a blog, you either need to have your own hosting or buy it, then download stuff, install it etc or know a person to do it for you.
